Time Lost.....

Marc and I, as of last night, are all caught up with ABC's TV show Lost.

Sometime in May, only a few short weeks after Lydia was born, Marc's co-worker lent him Season 1 on DVD. So, on a rainy Saturday, when we didn't have much going on, besides taking care of a newborn who needed to be fed constantly, we began our Lost "journey". I think we had a Lost marathon that day, watching 7-8 episodes. We seriously watched it ALL day. After that we were hooked, and slowly proceeded through all 4 seasons. We watched most of season 3 and 4 on the internet, which surprisingly wasn't too bad, and actually kinda fun!

There aren't many TV shows, or movies we watch, but Lost was interesting to us, and we recommend it.

Why am I writing about this??? It's kind of a relief to be all caught up..... We stayed up late too many nights watching episodes. It was fun, but we're all done. We'll just have to wait until January now....

6 Month Appointment

We survived Lydia's 6 mo. appt. The doc said she's doing well, and is very healthy. She also survived 4 shots! Not exactly the most enjoyable thing for her, or us..... She is still at the 95% for weight, coming in at a whopping 18 lb 15 oz. But it turns out she also had a huge growth spurt and is now 27 1/4 in. up 1 1/2 inches from last month. So her height is at 95% too! It cracks me up, because Marc and I aren't exactly tall! I think she's just doing her growing now, so she doesn't have to do it later! We're doing her 6 month photos with Rich and Leann tonight, so be on the lookout for some fun new pics!

Bumblebee!

A little overdue, considering Halloween was a month ago now, almost. But we did dress Lydia up as a bumblebee! She was a pretty cute bumblebee!

I wish I was better at this BLOG thing. By that I mean more consistent. We just got back from FL, and were shocked to encounter the cold here in Chicago! We miss the sunny warmth of Florida! It was a great trip, filled with great memories. Lydia got to go swimming for the first time, and really enjoyed it! Marc and I got to go parasailing, which was really enjoyable for me, since last year I was pregnant and could not go. We saw a bunch of stingrays from the air, and even a sea turtle. And although I would say I am somewhat afraid of heights, I didn't really get that scared. It probably helped that Marc and I did it together.

Tonight it Lydia's 6 month appt. She has been in the 95-97% for weight for the last 4 months, and it will be interesting to see where she's at now, since her appetite has not changed much! She's our sturdy little pumpkin!
